Privacy Policy

Last updated: jUNE 25, 2026

Badland Aircraft LLC ("Badland Aircraft," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit badlandaircraft.com (the "Website"), purchase our products, or communicate with us, and how we use, share, and protect it.

This Privacy Policy works together with our Terms and Conditions. The Terms govern your purchases, affiliate/advertising relationships, and your legal rights and obligations; this Policy governs how we handle your personal information. Where the two reference the same topic, this Policy controls on privacy matters and the Terms control on commercial and liability matters.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information you provide to us directly. Name; email address; phone number; mailing/shipping address; account login details (if you create an account); order, build, and configuration details; payment information processed through our payment provider; and the contents of any messages, inquiries, forms, or forum posts you send us.

b. Information collected automatically. When you use the Website we automatically collect technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, links clicked, and the date and time of your visit.

c. Cookies and tracking technologies. We and our service providers use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies. See Section 4 for details.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as government IDs, health, or biometric data) and ask that you not send it to us.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process, fulfill, and ship your orders and manage your account and production slot;
  • Communicate with you about inquiries, quotes, orders, deposits, and support;
  • Provide customer and builder support;
  • Send newsletters, marketing, or promotional messages where you have opted in (you can opt out at any time);
  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Website and our products and services;
  • Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers. Trusted vendors who help us operate the business — for example, web hosting, payment processing, shipping and logistics, email/marketing delivery, and analytics — and who are permitted to use the information only to perform services for us.
  • Legal compliance and protection. When required to comply with law, subpoena, court order, or lawful government request, or to protect our rights, safety, property, or that of others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
  • With your direction or consent. When you ask us to share it.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use the following categories of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential cookies needed for the site, cart, and account to function;
  • Analytics cookies that help us understand how visitors use the Website;
  • Social media features and embeds — for example, Facebook/Meta and Instagram content embedded on our pages — which may set cookies and collect data under those platforms' own privacy policies; and
  • Advertising/affiliate cookies that may be set when you interact with partner or affiliate links.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work properly without them. Do Not Track: because there is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" signals, our Website does not currently respond to them.

5. Affiliate Links and Advertising

The Website contains affiliate and partner links, and we may earn commissions through them. The commercial disclosure for this is set out in our Terms and Conditions under the FTC disclosure section. From a privacy standpoint: when you click affiliate or partner links, the destination site and its advertising partners may collect information about you under their own privacy policies, which we do not control.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy — including the life of your order, account, and any production/warranty period — and thereafter as required to comply with legal, tax, accounting, and recordkeeping obligations or to resolve disputes. When no longer needed, we securely delete or de-identify it.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards — such as secure hosting, encryption in transit, and access controls — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your Privacy Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you;
  • Correct inaccurate information;
  • Delete your information (subject to legal, tax, or contractual retention requirements);
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time via the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us; and
  • Manage cookies through your browser.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 12. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights, including the right to know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect; the right to know whether we disclose it and to whom; the right to request deletion; the right to correct inaccurate information; and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. You may exercise these rights yourself or through an authorized agent, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.

Residents of other states with privacy laws (e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut) may have similar rights; contact us to exercise them.

9. Third-Party Links

The Website links to third-party sites, social media, owner/builder forums (including badland103forum.org), and partner pages. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. (Our Terms separately address our lack of responsibility for third-party content.) Review the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

10. Children's Privacy

The Website is intended for adults. Consistent with our Terms, you must be at least 18 to purchase from us. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and if we learn we have done so, we will delete it promptly.

11. International Users

We are based in the United States, and your information is processed and stored here. If you access the Website from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your location.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and post the updated version on this page. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
